The Nightmare Before Christmas Review(:

Wow! Today was such a busy day at school, but the dance and the festival were the best part. The haunted house turned out great and no one expected such a creppy "Christmas" Festival. The booths were full and the people were everywhere. By the way nice going Mr.Stocker because I was actually was tricked in buying that Christmas stocking. Ha ha. The dance was great! "Party in the U.S.A", kicked of the dance and everyone was ready for the rest of it. Eight graders had a blast along with the sixth and seventh graders. I hope our next dance it's pretty soon because I can't imagine how that one is going to turn out!

Movies ((:

Yesterday was some day! Friends were everywhere, excitement, laughter, and craziness filled the air. Three movies: one was cute with love (Love Happens), two was action and adventure (G. I Joe), and three was creepy and a bit scary(Sorority Row). Lots of people went and everyone was there. People from Mason Park to Chrysalis Middle School. The atmosphere was wild. He he :)) It was all fun and crazy. Ohh one lat thing; I sure enjoyed the hot dog, pretzel, and icee (:

Summer;;Mexico;

Wow! I can't believe summer is literally over. I had a really good summer this year but i do have to say it had its boring moments to.

Well it all started in Mexico, what a blazing hot place it is but even so the heat didn't beat me. We first headed to "El Centro" (Matamoros,Mexico's downtown) were i got my surpsrise alrigth. There were lots of things to see but we stopped by for a fresh glass of lemonade and enjoy going through some magazines. I was walking ahead of my sister and dad when the craziest thing happened right in front of me. In less then 10 seconds some guys stole this ladies purse and he looked at me but i was in shock that I just stood there. Thankfully he ran and didn't hurt anybody even though i felt bad for that lady that just got stolen at.

After a surprising experience my afternoon was pretty good. I got the chance to visit some family and finally end my day with a game of Loteria (another "mexican" name for Bingo). I thought i would win a lot since I always had luck but not anymore. I played and played but nothing! I was about to quit when finally i won! I was so happy (lol).

The next day we all woke up early to be able to have enough time to enjoy this day. We started by looking for a hair salon since my sister was getting highlights and I was getting a haircut. In the end it turned out okay. My new look was alright i guess (LOL) After that we got to visit two of my aunts. It was cool since we go to go to the "Pulga" (fleamarket) then we ate at some restaurant.

Finally we had to go back home. We stopped at Brownsville for a while then we were on the road. Most of the time I was texting or I would go to sleep since I get car sick :(. Even so this was some trip :))

HIV Isn't That Bad

This article is very straight forward. The way it describes itself about HIV is just normal just like the way I think people with HIV should feel. The Kool Kids group was a great idea because not only will the people that have this will feel supported but they will get a chance to learn more about the circumstance that they are in. This article shows how teenagers go trough everything that a normal teen goes trough. If i were to have HIV (God Forbid) this article would have made me feel better about myself and help me understand that I don't have to go through this alone.

Summer :)

This summer better be great. (lol) I plan to go out of town, hang out with friends, go to the movies, and go shopping!! July is were my "summer" starts since we were all in summer school but summer school was pretty funn. The clubs we had made me laugh all the time and I always had fun. All the work we did this summer was pretty interesting but at the end of the day i was exhausted. I do fope that few changes that we made sure will make a difference in our school. I'll miss all my friends but I'm sure we'll keep in contact. Now I can't wait to see what awaits for me this Summer 09'.

The BaTmAn

Well, I think everyone knows this but, my ultimate number one and best superhero is Batman!! This superhero beats any other no matter what. It Has the coolest gadgets, awesome vehicles, and really "bad" villains. I love this hero because no matter what happens he knows what's best and always makes the right choice. It's logo its pretty cool and of course he lives in a mansion but under that is his secret cave. Not only that but he has the most funniest. sophisticated, and good looking villains. My favorite is The Joker because he always has a big cool-aid smile in his face. (lol) He has a sense of humor when his ready for business and Heath Ledger did a great job representing him in the newest movie The Dark Knight which was inexplicably wonderful. The Batman saga is full of action, fun, and exciting people and scenes. In every movie you will get to see how he wears different outfits ans how his techniques change to become a better hero than the one he already is. You get to see the Penguin, Catwoman, Robin, Batgirl, Mr.Freeze, The Riddler, and so on. Batman its all full of excitement so I recommend for you to watch all the Batman movies because they will all be great.

This quote made me realize that it can be true therefore, I agree with this statement. This quote is "true" to me because I’ve known to like people by getting to know them better, I’ve seen other people go trough it, and also because life has shown me how to love people by knowing or understanding them. These three things are very strong to me therefore, that is why I rather get to know the person before I assume anything about them. Yeah, I might assume some things about them but, then I realize they might be the exact opposite of what i think of them.
In the book Of Mice and Men so far there’s only two characters that relate to this quote. Well, the character of Lennie applies to this quote as it also applies towards George. I say this because Lennie is the one that people need to understand before they judge him. He is mentally disabled but, that doesn’t mean he can’t do things right. George takes part because I’m sure he at least tries to understand Lennie for him to be able to watch over him. These characters have proven this quote can be true that's why i say that it relates to them.
Well, this quote can change someones life because it has made a change in mines. I say this because I've learned that knowing a person really well brings a good change of what you thought of them before you got to meet them. If it happened to me then it can happen to anybody. The change that it will bring would be a good one because you will be able to understand why they do those things, know their stuff, and put interest in new things. All this can be done by giving them the chance to just listen to them and get to know them. Sometimes you might get surprised but, in the end it will all be worth it.

My Splashy Akward Saturday

My Saturday was great ;)) In the morning I woke up knowing that we had to go pick up my sister from HCC due to some summer class she's taking. I wasn't very excited about that, what I was waiting for was my nieces' and brothers' water party!! I couldn't wait to get wet since the sun was blazing hot that day. I got ready but, before we went to the party me and my sis wanted to stop by Claire's and buy some new shades. I had to go just like I was dressed!! I was wearing this dress that is like for going to the beach but the only thing I liked about it was that it had Hello Kitty but, still I wasn't sure what people would say if they were to see me in the store walking with that. I went in Claire's and it didn't turn out that bad, sure there was a few stares but people seemed to think it was normal. (Which by the way made me feel better.)

We finally got to the party. Everyone was outside getting wet and I was about to go join them. There was this water slide that you landed in a "pool'. It sure was awesome but the first time I got on it I was freezing cold!!! After I got used to it I rode on it non-stop, the funner part was that two of my friends kept pushing me down and I would go really fast. I got them back though(lol). Everyone was having a great time and then we had a balloon fight which was hilarious because this kid kept on dropping his balloons and everyone would get him so bad.

I was so tired that I decided to change and get something to eat. I tried some of my sisters' chicken which turned out pretty good but, that wasn't all, my sister had made something that had tortilla chips with cheese and sour cream on top then a little bit of "Chile" with "coditos" now that my friend was something worth trying because it was DELICIOUS!! It was late so we started heading home and when I got there I just layed down and listen to music, after that I had a nice phone call, and my day ended with a good night sleep. :))
