Summer School at Lamar! A whole new start!

Wow! Today was the third day at LAMAR! The first day was a bit nerve-breaking for me, but I was ready for anything that was going to cross my path. I meet with Eli, Celeste, Christian, and Sunday at the entrance since we we're about to enter the unknown grounds of HIGH SCHOOL! Once we entered the "hallway" heading towards the cafeteria, we all felt as if we were in the wrong place, fitting in wouldn't be hard, but not easy either. After these few "not so good" feelings our day became better. Tuesday was much better and everyone was nice to me, so I knew today would be better. With our "homeroom" teacher this month, Ms.Radcliffe, my class was split into smaller groups to get to know each other better. Three guys and a two girls was the result of my group. We all had to agree on something and come up with a banner that represented us, such as the TAKS Olympics that we had at Chrysalis. After a few minutes of thinking and working the Fighting Zebras was the result of our teamwork. I drew the letter and the others helped color(: Today with my assingned group of the week was much better than Tuesday. We now don't feel shy and we had a blast laughing the whole time. I hope tomorrow turns out good as well!

The Nightmare Before Christmas Review(:

Wow! Today was such a busy day at school, but the dance and the festival were the best part. The haunted house turned out great and no one expected such a creppy "Christmas" Festival. The booths were full and the people were everywhere. By the way nice going Mr.Stocker because I was actually was tricked in buying that Christmas stocking. Ha ha. The dance was great! "Party in the U.S.A", kicked of the dance and everyone was ready for the rest of it. Eight graders had a blast along with the sixth and seventh graders. I hope our next dance it's pretty soon because I can't imagine how that one is going to turn out!
